INCA TRAIL AVAILABILITY

The Inca trail is a world famous trail that is requested by thousands of people for being a route that connects you directly with Machu Picchu, one of the 7 world wonders. Each day while on the trail, you will see beautiful landscapes and Incan archaeological sites, making it a unique and unforgettable experience. In order to plan and prepare for this adventure, permits must be booked in advance due to permit limitations established by the Peruvian government. Inca Trail permits can only be obtained through tour operators such as AMARUTREK EXPEDITIONS! The Peruvian government authorizes only 500 permits per day and these are obtained quickly, therefore, we suggest you book 5-6 months in advance. We are more than happy to help you book your permits but it is important to contact a member of our sales team to start with the necessary queries and reservations, send an email to: amarutrekexpeditions@gmail.com

IMPORTANT

It is very important to provide your complete information to acquire Inca Trail permits,we will need the following: current and valid passport number, date of birth, nationality, gender and the date of entry (or date you will be doing the trail). After we receive your deposit(s), we will enter your provided information into the booking system and will confirm your permits to the Inca Trail for the date you have requested. Once your permit is confirmed and obtained, the Peruvian government will not allow any changes under any circumstances. Inca Trail permits are not transferable (names or dates), so make sure your dates are correct and documents such as passport information is up to date and valid.  If you renew your passport after booking your Inca Trail permit, you will have to bring your old and new passport with you.  The old passport will be to show at the Inca Trail checkpoint for entry. 2018 permits are counted from March 1, 2018, until January 31, 2019, and the 2019 period is from March 1, 2019, to January 31, 2020.
